Climbing courses for schools and colleges
Our purpose built climbing centre at Lower Grange Farm in Maidstone was developed as a specialist centre for young people and is Kent County Council approved.
We cater for all young people regardless of ability or additional need and deliver a range of sessions appropriate to age and experience.
Students who struggle more academically can find the hands-on approach to climbing and structured learning particularly rewarding.
Our indoor facility can be used year round and offers climbing, bouldering and abseiling. We have specially adapted platforms for wheelchair users and a lift which can access all levels of the climbing centre.
Close to the M20 motorway, we have parking on site for minibuses and coaches.
Our instructors hold the relevant National Governing Body qualifications and are DBS checked. Working with young people on a regular basis, they are experienced with supporting additional needs and will ensure all pupils are able to achieve at a pace that suits them.
Our instructors undertake regular ongoing learning to ensure their climbing skills and knowledge remain current.
You can also provide your own instructors. We will need to see evidence of their appropriate qualification, public liability insurance for climbing and a valid first aid certificate in advance of your visit.
If you haven't visited our climbing centre before - why not arrange a tour. Our staff would be happy to show you the climbing facility and discuss how it can be used by your school or college group.
