FAQ
I've not visited Lower Grange Farm before, do I need to complete an induction?
If joining us for a climbing open session for the first time you will need to book an induction with an instructor. Find out more.
Do I need to book? Can we just turn up?
Sessions can be busy and capacity is limited so we recommend booking in advance. We can then also keep you up to date with any changes affecting your booking (road closures, bad weather, centre availability etc).
Do I need my own equipment?
For youth open sessions and courses all equipment is provided as part of the cost.
For our open sessions you can bring your own equipment, but we also have kit available to hire including shoes, harnesses and belay devices.
I haven't climbed before and/or want a skills refresher. What is the best way to get climbing?
If you haven't climbed before, or its been a while, we would suggest a learn to climb course to get you started.
